Hi, I’m happy to have found a film-focused instance I can keep an eye on. I’m not registered here, but I’m looking for communities that cover media production/VFX news (news about studios, opinion pieces, upcoming releases, new fx technologies etc) tutorials ( such as for editing, 3d modelling, texturing, compositing, etc).
Would this instance be the right place for such a community? Or perhaps someone can please point me in the right direction? Unfortunately I don’t think I have what it takes to start and maintain a community, I’m not someone who posts. Cheers
Sorry for the delay, @Mothra@mander.xyz but yeah, you’ve come to the right spot! Look around at the existing communities here—there are new ones being added all the time. If there isn’t a specific community that fits your interest, you can always request one at our lemmyfilm.meta community. Particiption is key!
