I’ve seen seeing posts all over Lemmy about bots inundating instances with sign-ups. I’m just wondering if mander.xyz is doing OK.

Doing fine! We’ve flown under their radar until now.
But I have listened to the warnings of other admins and I’ve re-activated the registration form to prevent experiencing that same fate.
It’s not like the registration form is difficult to fill out, I’ve seen worse on forums. I’d say leave it up permanently, if filling in a simple form is too much bother for some people then they probably wouldn’t contribute anything meaningful to the discussions anyway! 😛
