There is an interesting conversation about the invention of the clock and universal time, for sure. But the argument for getting rid of it boils down to let’s return to a preindustrial society, which is not so interesting to me. We take it for granted as a kind of “natural” force, and yet we can affect it through human action (daylight savings fast and loose example.)
