That seemed like a pretty valuable feature on reddit, and it seems even more valuable given that there can multiple communities with the same name on different servers.
So is it possible to crosspost?

I heard that if you post the link to the post as your post, it registers as a crosspost, but I havent tried it yet.
You can also click this square over square looking icon.
Seems like it lets you xpost to any community you’re subscribed to, even outside your instance.
The icon is in two spots
From the feed:
In the post itself:
Ah, ok that makes sense. I’ll try that.
I just edited my comment because I also found the crossposting menu icon
Ah, I see that now on the site. I was also using jerboa which doesn’t seem to have that option yet. But I’ll use the site for crossposting then when needed. Thanks!
Yes you’re right about the interface being different… Maybe someone can chime in and tell us if there’s an easy way to do it on jerboa
Jerboa is very alpha quality. AFAIK cross-posting is simply not yet implemented and the Jerboa developer is the same time also one of the two main Lemmy developers so they probably have their hands full with other stuff right now.
