    Germany is going to have a really bad next two or three decades economically, and even though material conditions aren’t exactly favourable, most of the damage has been done by incredibly poor internal political decisions.

      Yes, those words are weirdly written, but not neccessarily wrong. He speaks of ‘houshold energy’ and i think it doesn’t mean ‘state household’ (german: Staatshaushalt, often used in finances) a but the sum of electricity use in private households.

      Those words and numbers are not the the topic here, though.

      After the french reactor checks, repairs and maintenance in 2022 which was extensively used as an argument against nuclear energy, germany is now in a situation they willingly put themself into. Their carbon footprint is (still) catastrophic, they are now importing more electricity than they export and as it is they will be dependent on french nuclear.
