2)not because some decentralized projects are scams means they all are

3)custodial cryptocurrency exchanges aren’t web3 because they use centralized databases

4)solana is not a permissionless blockchain

Projects that use web3 do not mean per se web3 is doing so great. Many are pretty confused as to what is and is not web3. Web3 wallets could be used for so much more like an alternate means of authentication and even authorization for instance.
