The format of the URL for the picture is one that I haven’t seen before. If you go to what looks like the pure jpg file it sends you to a site: pics.letsfail.com/POtI5/sayiwaBu91.jpg

Let’s encrypt is absolutely refusing to give me a certificate for the brand new subdomain, and on top of it, I have only just started using XBackBone and… yeah, the direct links to images are weirding me out. I grabbed the direct image link because it was the only way not to get a certificate error.

Lemmy wasn’t smart enough to figure this out, so the image does not show up.
You’ll be happy to hear I added a thumbnail generator to the thing so I can post actual images and not whatever abomination this was.

Yup. Easy drag and drop, generates unique links for the files. And apparently weird image links.
