The “curly girl/guy” method might be of interest for you. I’ve known a few people who have complained about having curly hair and said it all makes sense once they started following the method.

It’s more of a precautionary measure because of how the compressor works on them. If you didn’t tilt it more than like 20 degrees when moving it, I’d say it’s unlikely the oil moved from the bottom of the compressor.
