4·12 days agoApparently that is indeed the correct option, after a web search. I thought it less likely because it would have required this example to be an even number for the half to be exact. It seems to just round down for odd numbers though.

I’m guessing it’s the lower number, since the other two are multiples by 2 and 4 of it?

Unfortunately, without the veto power I expect the nuclear-armed countries would just leave the UN and it would lose what little usefulness it still has.

Yes, I imagine they’d use the Arrow 3, and the US Navy could probably help out with SM3s if they were instructed to intervene.
I thought the “18” was a typo, but the Royal Navy really did put the heaviest gun they ever fielded on a carrier.
They’re saying ballistic missiles, not cruise missiles though. Those are too fast and too vertical to be intercepted with aircraft.
