I know English is super common (we all know why that is) but it doesn’t mean you have to adopt it as an official language. I don’t even think English is widely spoken in Ukraine so this move is just silly.

The ICC immediately issued a warrant for Putin pretty much the second the war kicked off in 2022, but they have been incredibly slow with Israel. Right now it seems there is an application for an arrest warrant but it applies to Netanyahu and “Hamas leaders” because “both sides committed war crimes.”

It’s proven itself to be a complete clown show, a circus. How do you issue these arrest warrants immediately after what happened in Crimea? The ICC was incredibly quick, since the beginning of this war, to punish Russian officials but when it comes to Israel and even Ukraine they are really dragging their feet.

That’s what I noticed too. After Ukraine kills civilians they pivot to punishing Russian officials, what about the people in Crimea that were literally just killed???

It has been incredibly distressing to see so many bleeding hearts become blood thirsty monsters. I was always aware of the dislike and hatred for Russians, its hard to miss with all the movies and games where the Russians are villains, but it always seemed like it was relegated to the screen, I never encountered that animosity in real life. But the second this war kicked off it was like the floodgates were opened. I’m honestly surprised as to how quickly this all devolved. I mean, even the Russian cultural centre in my city got some weird reviews and NAFO grew incredibly quickly. I couldn’t (and still can’t) even mention something Russian related without people around me cringing or getting uncomfortable. It makes me really sad and angry at the same time. I’m just hoping this all comes to an end soon and maybe people will realize how terrible they were being, but I honestly don’t know, people over here tend to be incredibly stubborn…
