In Germany you would’ve been drafted and if surviving you’d have had to help rebuild a bombed-down occupied country. I certainly wouldn’t want to be born before the ~60s.

Exactly. People who use windows don’t use it because they want to undermine the USA’s democracy but because thats just what they’ve always been doing and they’re not questioning their habits.
KDE connect
They’re blindly supporting Israel for historical reasons, not because they support genocide.
RTX3060, no issues for me after installing the driver

My Linux system uses about 1 GB idle and yet I’m glad to have 16 GB - not because I wouldn’t mostly be fine with 8, but because it just keeps more doors open. Can run more demanding programs, more programs simultaneously, can host something in the background, …

Go to the mountains (largest part of Austria, literally 2/3), it’s much better there.
Every day in the US, someone swears at me.
I generally don’t get why swearing is apparently so normalised in the USA. At least in US-made content (from films to books to music to internet posts, everything) the word “fuck” is being used so frequently.

I think I found your issue… Most Linux distros just work nowadays.
Works fine for me? (opensuse tumbleweed)
Didn’t take much effort, hybrid mode got implemented automatically and then I just manually added a widget for quick switching between only integrated graphics, hybrid mode and only nvidia (basically never using that one, just either integrated or hybrid)
Such experiences should not be possible in a developed country.
