Yeah, I use Firefox as the main browser, but that’s beside the point. I can choose what browser to use myself and lemmy comments not gonna change that in any way.

Oh you mean update whole system to testing? That’s kinda radical 🙀
Does it have different dependencies on testing? What’s “side repos”?

Actually Rosatom refuses to operate the plant and it’s still operated by the Ukrainian Energoatom. Hm, I wonder why is that? Maybe so they could put the blame on Ukraine when they blow that shit up?

Cool thing about Whoogle is that you can deploy it in one click on free service like Heroku. That’s a big plus compared to other self hosting solutions like SearX where you need extensive technical knowledge to deploy.
It’s worth noting this permission can be used for legit reasons sometimes, like for rendering some graphical elements. But most of the time it’s used for fingerprinting your browser. And it’s so widespread, you can see it everywhere from government websites to Linux distro websites. Crazy stuff.
There’s another tiling extension for KDE it’s called Bismuth
Edit: oh sorry it’s already been mentioned
For some reason I had “permissions.default.desktop-notification” flag set to 2 in my config. I’ve changed it to 0 and that fixed it for me.
Seems like overkill. The last time I tried it, I had so many problems, like sound not working, wrong cursor theme or not following system dark theme, etc. I guess if I wanted to go in that direction I would just install flatpak, but I don’t want to do that for the same reason. It’s not as good as a native application.
