    Good for you. It’s hard to distance ourselves from people who are no longer good for us. Are there any groups or clubs in the area based on your interests?

    • I’ve done an event with PSL. A goal of mine is to become more active next year. I also have some non-political activities I enjoy. I’m confident better people for me are out there.

        Definitely, I find just being friendly and engaging goes a long way to making new connections with people. Making friends is more difficult as an adult but at least we can have more choice over who we pick as friends.

            Yeah not much point in having friends who aren’t nice lol. That’s awesome you have a brother you can connect with though. Family is a great way to meet new people through social circle exchange. Maybe you two could get involved with something and meet new friends that way.
