    I’m assuming we will be using earth years even on other planets. Would be rather confusing to have two or more time systems for the solar system.

      oh but that’s what i think will happen

      btw we already had this in the past, even on earth. multiple cultures used different calendar systems, making time calculations a bit tricky.

        right but like, we changed that because it makes things incredibly difficult when you’re communicating in effectively real time across the world

        I think other planets would have both a local time and earth time, much like we now have clock time and “look outside and see where the sun is” time
