@nostupidquestions Why r bugfixing mods like unofficial skyrim patch and circle of eight modpack opinionated rather than unintrusive with their changes. Like it’s not simply bugfixes anymore, is it?
Are most bugfixing mods like this? Why do they end up like this if so? They seem to make seemingly random opinionated changes that’re seemingly unrelated to bugfixing. College of winterhold dorm only one room for you, for example, even though 2 are free and free by default since no one occupies it
I’m not even sure I understand your question in the first place. What’s your problem with bug fixing mods?
I don’t have any experience with any of these mods so I can’t say OPs exact grievances, but it seems like he’s saying that some of these mods do extra stuff on top of fixing bugs that he doesn’t like
Uh okay well I don’t think I’ve seen anything in any TES unofficial patch that did anything beyond the scope of what’s expected in vanilla gameplay.
@Mothra They make seemingly random opinionated changes that’s seemingly unrelated to bugfixing. I forgot most changes but I remember unofficial skyrim patch only allowing you one room in the dorm of college of winterhold instead of default two whics strikes me as a weird change since no one uses both so should both be free for the dragonborn. I don’t remember more egrigous examples and some of those bugfixes are subjective like fixing reanimation staves to disintegrating timed out used corpses.
@Mothra I’m not the only one who thought this (sorry character limit)
