Hes doing more damage to lgbtq and christian relations than helping.
It’s in March 31st every year. It doesn’t just go away on the rare occasion Easter also falls on March 31st. Trying to blame Biden for this reeks of desperation.
Totally separate - but in the Bible Jesus accepts everyone for who they are and right where they are at. Being angry, judgmental, or even violent about someone who is trans existing is inherently anti-Christian.
Yeah Jesus accepted everyone.

What Jesus intolerant ?
https://fervr.net/bible/was-jesus-intolerant
Jesus didn’t tolerate sin but he loved the sinner.
Jesus didn’t tolerate sin but he loved the sinner.
What does that have to do with being trans—a thing which is not a sin?
According to most major religions it’s a sin.
According to most major religions it’s a sin.
No it isn’t.
Yes it is. Do you have cite to say otherwise?
Do you have cite to say otherwise?
I’m not the one claiming being trans is a sin. I don’t intend to provide “prove a negative” citations that television and tennis shoes aren’t sins either.
It’s known the Catholics view it as sin. Muslims view it as a sin. This is well known and has been in the news recently as the pope has spoke about it.
It’s not asking you to prove a negative. It’s a common known fact.

Jesus’ intelorance was always loving
Tolerance may do well, unless people are in danger. My son might believe it is safe for him to run across the road but I’m intolerant of that belief and behaviour. Instead, because I love him, I shout ‘stop’ and grab him. My friend might believe that alcohol doesn’t affect his driving ability but I’m intolerant of that. Instead, because I love him, I’ll take his car keys and drive him home myself. Jesus knows that people whose views, beliefs, and behaviours differ to his own are in danger. Jesus knows that certain beliefs lead to death, and judgement, and hell. Jesus knows that certain lifestyles are actually harmful to those who practice them. If Jesus had simply tolerated different views and behaviours he’d have smiled, waved, and done nothing. He’d have left people in deadly danger. But instead, Jesus loves people whose beliefs and behaviours differ from his.
This is why Christians get so much criticism.
They couch their intolerant behavior in religion and expect us just to accept it as the love of Jesus manifested through them. But that’s not what it is. Sure, Jesus knew certain beliefs lead to death, judgement, and hell but he didn’t bully prostitutes or shun lepers. He also didn’t rape little boys and steal them from their families and claim it was love. And the primary object of his greatest act of intolerance was against the church that claimed to represent him and his father.
Christianity is under attack. By so-called Christians doing deeply un-Christian things. They play the victim as they victimize others. Their love is narcissistic. And their actions are evil.
#NotAllChristians or whatever.
From one of my favorite authors and her blog:
And the primary object of his greatest act of intolerance was against the church that claimed to represent him and his father
I am really confused by this statement. Can you explain ? There were no churches when Jesus was alive.
I’m saying he criticized the church and was intolerant of what they were teaching.
Jesus? There were no churches when Jesus was alive.
Okay, fine, he criticized the religious leaders that claimed to represent him and his father.
I am just confused. The leaders didn’t claim to represent Jesus.
I think many people dislike religion but they also don’t understand the first thing about it.
Jesus was a Jew. After he died, Christian’s were people who tried to live their life on his teachings. Jewish people don’t see Jesus as a messiah. It varies but some see him as a prophet. Islam sees him as a prophet.
Jesus criticized people for not being truly religious.
It would have been trivial to pick a day that would never fall on the same day as Easter
Lmao it would be even more trivial to notice this doesn’t impact your life in any way and let it the fuck go.
It would have been trivial to pick a day that would never fall on the same day as Easter
Why should whoever was responsible for TDoV have to?
Trans people were around before Rome, much less, Jesus.
Hell, there were eight genders recognized by Jewish law long before Jesus was born. Male, Female, Androgynous (in this case, naturally possessing obvious traits of both genders, in modern parlance a hermaphrodite), “Tumtum” being largely bereft of either gender, Born male but naturally developing female, born male but developing female due to human intervention, born female but naturally developing male, and born female and developing male due to human intervention.
According to the news that is false and gross understanding of the text.
“The news” aka the far-right think tank Heritage Foundation. Get better at sourcing information
Sounds like it’s a damn good source since you can’t attack their point of view and only that they are conservative.
The Heritage Foundation operates under stated goals to influence society to be more conservative. They literally tell you they aren’t an objective source and are instead trying to persuade you to believe what they believe. This article also cites a far-right Orthodox Jew and Ben Shapiro…a who’s-who of unbiased historical perspective, right? Lmao
I remember Jesus hanging out with an AMAB water carrier, but by all means, tell us more about how Jesus has a problem being associated with “the least of these”.
Hes clearly a man, never referred to as anything but a man. How did you get queer from this?
10He answered, “When you enter the city, a man carrying a jug of water will meet you. Follow him to the house he enters, 11and say to the owner of that house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?’ 12And he will show you a large upper room, already furnished. Make preparations there.”
Carrying water was a woman’s gender role in the culture in which our story takes place
So men just didnt drink water?
Wow…rub those brain cells together a bit harder…
Hes clearly a man, never referred to as anything but a man.
A person calls them one, doesn’t make them one—nor did I state explicitly they weren’t a man.
How did you get queer from this?
How did I get Queer from a ‘dude’ doing feminine-coded labor?
Fellas, is it feminine to bring water home?
Yall are so quick to label people, putting them in neat little boxes, and declaring them queer if they dont conform to your ideas of gender roles.
No, but I also don’t live in the Roman Imperial Province of Judea in 20 AD.
Tell me, what work in our culture do you think is “women’s work?”
All work is womens work. Are you trolling?
Nope. Just asking you challenging questions to make you question your stance.
Well you failed at that, mainly through sheer misunderstanding
Imagine being a single man back then: you’d die of thirst!
Fellas, is it feminine to bring water home?
Tell me, if it wasn’t notable—i.e. odd—i.e. Queer for a ‘man’ to be carrying water how the heck could ‘a man carrying water’ be enough identification for Jesus’ disciples to identify to correct person to lead them to the correct house.
If as you imply anyone would be carrying water what kept them from walking up to the wrong dude doing it and getting betrayed to the Romans (before it was time time to be betrayed by the Romans)?
Would not further the person with ties to Jesus being Queer fit in perfectly with the ministry of someone who pointedly associated with social outgroups such as sex workers, Samaritans, and tax collectors?
So would a single man die of thirst?
Sure, Id buy that there were gender roles in 20ad, but carrying a jug of water? Everyone gets thirsty.
Address why it was a notable enough description to identify the correct person to lead them to the Cenacle if as you imply dudes carrying water was considered completely normal.
Because he just so happened to be the only man carrying a jug of water at that time and place? Its Jesus, dude made a lot of miracles.

Yall are so quick to label people, putting them in neat little boxes, and declaring them queer if they dont conform to your ideas of gender roles.
But that’s exactly what conservatives do: if a person doesn’t conform to gender roles, when the don’t act like a man or a woman, then they’re otherized, treated differently as a resulted. It’s conservatives who insist that only men and women exists and there is nothing else except moral debauchery.
Queer then is an inclusive term that captures genders outside of men and women and just…goes along with it. Because it’s fine.
But that’s exactly what conservatives do: if a person doesn’t conform to gender roles, when the don’t act like a man or a woman, then they’re otherized, treated differently as a resulted
So we have an example of yall doing it here. Where’s your example of conservatives doing this?
We’re well familiar with your story of who conservatives are. Problem is, it doesn’t match who we really are.
Conservatives are often misunderstood. I think there is a big divide between social conservatives, such as the religious right, and economic conservatives like myself. People assume we are bible-thumping Jesus freaks.
Most of my beliefs are around adults doing what they want as long as they don’t harm others and the country making good financial decisions that allow all Americans to prosper.
I am against all the group classifications the Democrats want to do it. It rings to much of the Jim Crow days that the Democrats created. We should be one group of Americans

I always find it odd how many Christian relations are LGBTQ relations given their vociferous opposition.
