    Too sleek honestly, this look works for stuff on a dedicated ROW but for trams I wish we could go back to them being quaint and open…

      Yeah, that’s cute and all but then it starts raining and the whole experience becomes miserable. I’ll happily take “public transit that’s nice to use in any weather” over “public transit that is aesthetically pleasing when it’s sunny out”.

        I actually like them in any weather. As long as you’re protected from the elements inside, there’s no problem with them. Plus I like them being so sleek instead of being boxy metal structures (albeit I have to admit that models like the Duewag GT4 do look cool as well).

      This is in Strasbourg, France.

      The rolling stock depicted here is the Eurotram built by ABB/Bombardier, delivered to the city between 1994 and 2000.

      Not so “nowadays” ironically :)
