    TBH that pay seems… low for someone working on a presidential campaign. Aren’t those people better paid?

        So basically a yearly salary of $170k for making memes.

        Granted, they need to promote a stubbornly out of touch candidate who’s throwing away democracy rather than listen to the people without being too ham-fisted to be funny, so it’s not like it’s an EASY gig…

          That role also has to view every meme through a geopolitical lens for its many interpretations. We can see the results when this role ISN’T in place where Trump campaign posts straight up Nazi and openly racist memes.

          Top level presidential campaign jobs are always pretty sweet gigs. And whether your candidate wins or loses, you can usually turn that into a decent D.C. job.
