Democrat politicians can be well understood when you realize that they are all just individual careerist opportunists with no greater plan or coherent party platform. Sticking one’s own neck out to get Biden out is risky and could have downsides, whereas Democrats being in the wilderness campaigning against Trump is easy and risk free.
