minus-squareAdmiral Patrick@dubvee.orglinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up54·edit-225 days agoWho needs an app? That’s actually pretty clever. Edit: I apparently didn’t see the nutjob entry on the right.
minus-squareAkrenion@slrpnk.netlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up22·25 days agoI think you haven’t finished reading the chart.

minus-squareratellinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up9·24 days agoI have a copy of The Weather Wizards Cloud Book in my day bag which is a nice little guide to identify what clouds are up above and which might come next. It’s pretty neat.
minus-squaremormund@feddit.orglinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4arrow-down1·25 days agoI mean technically, aside from the name, all statements on the right are correct I think. Don’t think huffing turbine exhaust is healthy for you 😄
minus-squareAkrenion@slrpnk.netlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up9·24 days agoChemtrails are watervapor. I am not saying there is no problematic exhaust. It just isn’t visible.
minus-squaremormund@feddit.orglinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up14·24 days agoThey are mostly ice crystals. But they form around soot from the exhaust. There is research into reducing those emissions to reduce contrails since they contribute to the greenhouse effect https://www.nasa.gov/news-release/nasa-dlr-study-finds-sustainable-aviation-fuel-can-reduce-contrails/ So the conspiracy guys are kinda correct that the contrails are bad, but once again for all the wrong reasons.
