I think that kid did pretty good considering the circumstances. Obviously it could have worked out a lot better, but it wasn’t bad enough to clown him over.

I don’t know anything about guns so I’m prone to agree about the shot itself but he’s an idiot for being at that distance and not bringing a scope (if memory serves me) and not aiming for the body. As everyone joked here at the time, dude fucked up by thinking this was Call of Duty and going for the headshot. A body shot with that gun, at that distance, and with his old ass McFish body would’ve been sufficient.
The whole thing is crazy. The fact that the SS didn’t have that very obvious vantage point secured is the oddest part. What you say is all true, but given that set of facts, I’m still impressed by how close he was. Especially given those facts tbh.

Just saying he made a few big, preventable mistakes he should’ve planned for. And I do think those happened due to ego/stupidity, considering that there are reports the dude even used some equipment to measure distance and angle some time before the rally even started. But didn’t bring a scope for a distanced headshot? Foolish arrogance.

The CEO killer’s quiet competence and nondistinct appearance could easily be spun as a hyper-shy Virgin being avoidant, and the ear-shooter’s neglect of training and absurd daring in getting so close and being so obvious during an event supposedly secured by the Secret Service is just pure Chad

If it existed unironically on 4chan or whatever before breaking containment I would not have seen that. I can just say that in the first months that it came to my attention, it was always ironic.
I’ve always seen Chad as an incel’s aspirational projection of how to get out of being an incel, as opposed to a true happy himbo, which is not something an incel is capable of understanding. When an incel does bombastic and destructive things in order to get attention, they are channeling Chad to one degree or another. The results are disastrous because Chad is a cartoon character who cannot grow beyond the bounds of the incel’s imagination.
The ironic version of the meme makes me giggle because by reversing the polarity but still insisting that Chad is the way to be, it gets at the absurdity of accepting an incel’s idea of how to not be a virgin anymore, or even of accepting the significance they assign to ‘virginity’.
