We did elfster this year. I equate it to spending $50 on someone else, but getting $50 worth of stuff I needed.

True story. It took me a couple of hours to settle into the the realization that yes that was the gift and no there wasn’t something puny or extra coming my way. That was just it. Socks.

From one of the few people who know ne best and could’ve gotten me anything.

Still not sure if there’s and what’s the message behind the socks.

Good quality socks as a gift is awesome.

You wouldn’t spend €20 on a pair yourself. But that is totally inside a gift budget.

The only gift I got was my dog puking on my comforter at 5am. I’d cry tears of gratitude if someone bought me socks.

Update: My HOA president left a baggie of dog treats at my door, addressed to my dog from her dog. He loved them and is now passed out in front of the fireplace. ❤️ Merry Christmas all!

Oh, is that not what it was? Well, I’m sure the “socks” are fine too! 😜

I bought myself 2 pair of alpaca wool socks and it was like low grit sandpaper on my heels.

But then again that’s my own fault for buying them on amazon

Odd, guess theres a lot of variability to such things. I have an alpaca hoodie which is a bit scruffy but I wouldn’t describe it as sandpaper at all. My alpaca socks are some of the softest things I’ve ever touched.
