    Yeah that’s the part I was referring to as selfish; not having kids is a personal choice. I think this comment really got to me because I see my siblings moaning about how their kids are being demanding and I just stare at them and say “they’re three years old”. Pop psychology has people obsessed with self-love at the expense of being a competent adult, where sometimes you have to compromise.

    And yeah that is the main problem with that comment it’s just total “we can’t do anything about this”.
