Another really great point. “I hate kids” (literally some of the most pure of heart, funny, and goofy people) always kind of exudes a total selfishness. It’s like “I hate people who aren’t useful to me”. And I understand that loud, misbehaved kids can be annoying but a blanket statement like that is definitely harmful.
We’re supposed to act that thinking “X group of people are annoying and I hate them” doesn’t impact our way of relating to them because they’re young. Or old. Very sad to see.
