I think the reactionaries want to persecute LGBTQ people for example but I’m not sure the apparatus of state and capital will allow them to crowdfund it because of rainbow capitalism (though they I think may allow it under the table with police looking the other way and courts giving no redress) but anti-imperialists and “tankies” are absolutely okay to hurt in their minds. They just have to keep selling that we are red fascists and it becomes a noble cause once they whip up a proper red scare with insinuations we’re everywhere.
That or focusing the hate on say the homeless. A pretty good target for persecution. Whip up stories of homeless attacks, sensational crime, etc get support to put them in camps for “public safety” then mass murder either by deprivation or slaughter. The protestant work ethic being a religion unto itself in the US especially homeless people are seen as scum for not just “pulling themselves up by their bootstraps”. People would absolutely crowd fund for homeless “relocation” as I’m sure they’d call it.
