TikTok has less than 75 days to make a deal.

2028: Windows 12 is the last last version of windows you’ll ever need.

Tik Tok for Business©️ with Teams©️ integration opens at startup and can only be disabled in the registry. It will be reenabled at every update. Why not send a Tik Tok React©️ to your coworker for a great PowerPoint©️ presentation?

Tik Tok accounts are all converted to Microsoft accounts and are required at installation. You already have an account, why not consume some approved content? We’ll open this handy guide in Edge to show you how!

Just press Ctl+Alt+Win+Shift+T to open Tik Tok for Desktop, Bedrock Edition.

So the “security threat” will then come from inside the building. Good job!

Do it. Or don’t do it. I don’t care either way.

I’ve never used that shit and never will.

I think they should just officially leave the US.

Unofficially they probably will still have some users…

Can somebody familiar with the law help me answer a few questions. I didn’t think the president had the power to delay a law taking effect. Would the next administration be able to collect fines from Oracle for continuing to host TikTok? Could any US company that competes with TikTok have standing to sue Oracle for violating the law and potentially costing them business?

The Act permits the President to grant a one-time extension of no more than 90 days with respect to the prohibitions’ 270-day effective date if the President makes certain certifications to Congress regarding progress toward a qualified divestiture.

Here’s last week’s full Supreme Court ruling this quote is from: https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24pdf/24-656_ca7d.pdf

If Oracle and Microsoft, or basically any other western entity, purchase Tiktok from ByteDance, then this law will no longer apply. The law only applies due to ByteDance being a Chinese-based company

First they’ll implemente camel toe and nipple blurring technology. Next Dioxing technology so you can’t say anything without telling everyone who you are and where you live. Finally voice recognition so they can feed text to their llms. And finally finally, hey! Tell us what you wanna see and we’ll make it for you…cuz that’s why people are on tiktok for.

Hmm OK…we would like our music teacher, miss Tia Tanaka to dance for the president… Hmmm are you sure that’s your music teacher? Cuz we got much higher resolution models of pretty much everyone else who has ever lived… Yes, out teacher Tia and her two best friends, one of who has a pizza box for no apparent reason.
