Hey everyone! I’m a huge fan of Hoyas, and I’ve been growing them for a while. I feel like I know a bit, but there’s always more to learn! Recently, I’ve been especially fascinated by Hoya Kerrii and its care needs.
Do you have a favorite Hoya? Hoya Kerrii care ,Any tips for growing them successfully? Let’s chat!

TIL hoyas are non-toxic to my cats and I could have gotten one for ages. Thanks OP for reminding me
My Hoya memoria/gracilis is easy going and is a prolific bloomer (just not now natch). My theory on getting Hoya to bloom is that they are homebodies. They need to stay in the same spot for a year or two before they feel like popping off.
To more directly answer your question, Hoya are definitely my favorite.
BTW I highly recommend putting a tablespoon or two of sulfur in a gallon of water and spraying down your Hoya. It helps control flat mites which are everywhere and seems to encourage blooming. Do it outside because among my friends it’s known as farting your plants…
