There is a supriseing amount of nazis supporting russia that openly share slavic version of swastikas, I am really beginning to question that these people are any different from Ukrainian coped nazi fans.

Russian state quite enjoyed using nazis when they were useful, but a few years back they seemingly stopped being controllable, so most of the leadership was jailed. A lot of rank and file fled to Ukraine.

Russian anti-communist nationalists are the strangest kind of people. They know the horrendous position Russia has been put in after the destruction of the SU, all the suffering it’s caused and how it lead to the current war and its horrors. But then they just turn around and blame it on communism? Extremely strange how the anti-communist indoctrination is so bad there even the nationalists don’t take pride in the extraordinary achievements of the SU, but rather regurgitate what Western robber barons - the very people who’ve done their best to destroy and humiliate their country - have told them about it.

It’s the same in Poland. 33 years after the fall of socialism, and basically everything wrong gets blamed on it.
And when some older folks who actually remember socialism voice the opinion that maybe some things were better back then or just not outright horrible they get disregarded and labeled as senile indoctrinated fossils who cannot adapt, right?
Of course, it’s all officially handwaved as “pure nostalgia for lost youth”.
Those are the people USA support and would not hesitate to put in charge in Russia, as they already did in Ukraine. Not even capitalists anymore - russian capitalists, while scum as usual, are disillusioned about the west. When western liberals are saying “Putin bad”, they support those people.
