USSR 2.0 changelog:
- Fixed revisionism bug
- Re-added gulags
- Removed Pizza Hut- Revive Lenin
- Restore Stalin’s place of honor, condemn Kruschev
- Unite with all the former SSRs.
- Put the military under control of the communist party, make sure commanders are principled communists, and rank-and-file receive political education.
Why is it that even comrades in the west immediately jump to “gulags” when talking about USSR? Instead of, oh I don’t know, the massive infrastructure projects? Subways and apartment blocks, no? Or how about the space programs? Luna missions, that were actually the first to put a country insignia on the Moon? Semi-automatic Mars lander? Unique Venus landers? No?
I wasn’t being serious, which is why I also mentioned Pizza Hut
Here ya go
USSR 2.0.0, changelog excerpt: - Restored previous project name ("RF" -> "USSR") - Re-added democracy - Removed homelessness bug - Prepared for removal of class `Bourgeois` in a future version - Improved security to prevent network attacks, particularly the well-known closed-source malware "IMPRLSM" - Added exhaustive tests to improve internal quality control - Refactored some old code - Integrated some code from https://sr.ht/~prc/swcc and various similar projects - Prepared to reincorporate some of the modules detached after the previous project name change in 1991 For a complete list of changes, see CHANGELOG.md
This version number is not compliant with semantic versioning standards. USSR 2.0.0 is the correct version number. The incrementing of the first number indicates a major breaking change.
Personally I prefer to call it GNU/USSR…
Will it have a microkernel or a nanokernel this time,
or at least have GNU/USSR-libre kernel? What if you prefer to use Busybox? Busybox/USSR? Are there going to be multiple versions of USSR that citizens can choose from? This is a very interesting topic to think about.
Can you imagine a beowulf cluster of these?
Now I want one
It was only communism open beta
What’s this from?
DNR or LNR, probably
From Donbas
I remember seeing this some years back. It’s from a VICE news feature on the Donbas war (the interviewed our guy Russell Bentley, and of course edited it to make him look absolutely insane). The officer in the picture above is (was?) a member of the Essence of Time battalion. I’ll try and find the video and post it.
EDIT: Found the video. Quoted section begins around 7:10. If you watch the whole thing, note that the whole issue of “rainbow capitalism” is treated with, shall we say, a certain insensitivity – assuming that the Russian is actually translated correctly, which it very possibly isn’t.
Essence of Time battalion
The what now?
These guys – they’re apparently a sort of communist “think tank” founded by the theater director Sergei Kurgyanin. They have or had a battalion fighting in the Donbas.
Looked him up and it’s wild. Apparently he had a TV show on federal TV and everything. But their views appear to be an odd mix. Thank you!
What is “Essence of Time battalion”
Modern Russian communist group, see reply to Shrike502 below.
Thank you, friend, I’d appreciate that
Some shitposting communist IG page I came across lol. Not sure of the source.
Let’s fucking go!
Shouldn’t we check what he means by “improved” before cheering?
This time we’re sharing toothbrushes.
Individual toothbrushes for everyone is revisionism
Yes this is true.
but seriously what does he mean
No idea, haven’t watched the interview
Is there a Russian word that starts with C that means new? CCCCP just feels great for memes.
Not that I know of, sadly
I guess you could use свежий/fresh or современный/modern
Is this Limonov? This looks like Limonov
Based.
Can’t wait
