Well a party that doesn’t support gay freedom is one that doesn’t support workers freedom so I strongly insinuate that this CPRF does not represent the spirit of the former Soviet Union, I’m really hoping we don’t have fraternal relations with them. They are literally the successors of the CPSU (КПСС, communist party of the Soviet Union). Their leader is Gennady Zyuganov, a name I’m sure you’ve heard of at some point. He ran against Yeltsin for president in the 90’s and had almost won.

One other org that I know is Workers’ Party of Russia (Рабочая Партяи России)
They require their members to study Marxism-Leninism and provide an opportunity to study it at a “Red University”. To understand dialectics better, I believe their members are also required to study Hegel. (in a translation of Hegel that is deemed not shit/not revisionist) IIRC they also helped organize some port workers’ strike.
One of their members is president of Fund of Worker Academy (Фонд Рабочей Академии, it’s supporting workers in education) M.V. Popov, who appears on media somewhat frequently. I think they know philosophy very well.
