non-zero chance this causes some sort of attempted terrorism, because the right wing freakout over this has been uniquely hilarious and hysterical to watch develop in real time–who knew you could get conservatives to advocate for defunding the police by simply prosecuting people they like?

This has me very anxious. Riling the shit out of his base like this is fine if it amounts to something, but if it doesn’t then this is just handing them a huge surge of energy.
