The fact that race is a social construct does not make it any more harmless or ignorable for its victims than a socially constructed tank rolling over you or say a socially constructed police dragging u to a socially constructed prison for not paying your socially constructed debt.
To try to pretend race isnt there and that it does not have an effect on the lives of the people that race was design to oppress IS racism.

There are different skin colors, hair textures, nose shapes, etc. That human variation is all real. What isn’t real is race. That is to say, these phenotypes don’t combine into meaningful or stable categories that reflect some reality outside culture.
Hot damn. I was just about to say that I like the view but it disagrees with biology - then googled it to be sure, and saw that this is actually true. In biology, humans aren’t categorized into races anymore. I had no idea! I learned something today.
