i know its nowhere near as bad the the USA, but fuck me this just ridiculous, we already have the largest tram network in the world. and decent train lines, both just need expansion not more roads.
That reminds me of a road in Portland, Sandy Boulevard. It goes at a diagonal to the rest of the street grid. Everywhere it goes it creates a mess of five way intersections, confusing turns, difficult to cross areas, and confusing bike routing that spills over onto adjacent roadways. Plus it’s a stroad. It’s not quite this bad, though.

Scariest thing is if it’s my first time going to an intersection like this and having no idea what to do lmao.
Ah, the intersection near Reservoir station. It’s changed now; for the better, but millions spent due to car dominance, with the government passing it off as public transport and bike network spending.
