    This is horrifying. No wonder no one listens to ecologists… in my opinion if their data is this widely open to interpretation, the experimental design is deeply flawed

    To me, the dataset and topic look so open-ended, and the dataset looks designed for people to mix random effects in many different ways.

    All this study does is highlight the lack of hypothetico deductive reasoning in so much research these days.

    It’s also gross that nature is writing articles on pre prints, IMHO
