If you believe someone is using a human shield and you bomb them anyway, you either chose to bomb innocents or you didn’t consider them human in the first place.
Using a human shield is disgusting. So is ignoring it.
It must be nice to live in a black and white world.
I’m not saying anyone wants to see innocent deaths (well honestly except Hamas) but like, honestly… What are you supposed to do? If you’re bombed by someone hiding behind human shields, and you do nothing because of the human shields, that means your people are allowed to be bombed with impunity. Compound that with Iran and Hezbollah on Israel’s border and you’d be inviting enemies to keep assaulting your civilians.
It’s also unclear how many Palestinians have actually died by Israel’s hand, because we also know that Hamas has bombed their own civilians and then claimed Israel did it via a disinformation campaign to make Israel look worse, and we also know that Hamas is inclined to inflate those numbers for the same reason.
It’s nice to see how Hamas’s human shields plans are falling apart.

If you’re actually wanting to understand the complexities of the situation, Ian Bremmer has a pretty in depth explanation here: https://youtu.be/K5tcwIicICg?si=YKdANlGRfa0GiIFv
I appreciate that link. A really great look at the situation.
