Went for a doctor’s test with 12hrs fasting, no food or water. I felt extra dumb this morning, and hungry, and after the appointment I went to shop some groceries. I was starving, so on my way out I bought some sushi but the salesperson didn’t give me chopsticks so I just had to suck it up and eat it home. Only it leaked during the trip home and spoiled my groceries.

People: don’t ever go food shopping on an empty stomach. Nothing good ever comes of it, ever

Bought a new car this weekend, which is heartstoppingly expensive but also exciting to replace my 16-year-old very analog car. It’ll be like learning to drive again in one of these very new cars. I’m very glad my car lasted as long as it did. Just rolled over to 385,000 km.

Also renewed my passport, changed my insurance, and changed my cable package which saves me 50 dollars a month. I adulted hard the last few days. I spent last night watching Letterkenny to soothe myself from all that.
