The state of Saxony-Anhalt has said people who do not recognize Israel's right to exist cannot become naturalized citizens. The eastern state's interior minister said Germany's other 15 states should take similar steps.
I want you to clarify what you’re speaking of. Do you mean Israel as a state or israelis as in a group of people?
I frankly don’t think a 60-some-year-old colonial state has a right to exist on stolen land. I do believe the Israelis have a right to live there alongside Palestinians
I’m not the gp, but I thought the article was awfully vague in that regard. It can easily be argued as prohibiting any criticism of Zionism and/or settler colonization.
And that’s by design! Just google “saschen nazi” and you’ll find tons of problematic shit from Nazis and right-wing extremists which this state does absolutely nothing against. But now they suddenly care about anti-semitism when it comes from foreigners? Yeah right ;-). This law for sure won’t be used in good faith but will be abused to deny as many foreigners as possible.

18 countries have been founded in the last 60 years. That’s almost 10% of all countries. I don’t think that can be a valid indicator.
