With all my cats: I like to do a cat scratch gesture like catwoman from a distance while we all laze around (again, from a distance).

Its like miming scratching a non-existant surface and they intuit that the imaginary surface I’m scratching is them.

Also “we” call scratching “scratcheese” lol

      I don’t think so. Although a research on the impact of different languages on the pets’ vocalisations would be cool.

        I was being cute but thanks haha. People just notate is different, like sometimes people joke about Chinese-owned cats saying “Mao” 😹
