lmao this article is such garbage. Simultaneously complaining that recruitment targets are not being hit, while also complaining that too many non-white men are joining the military. I do feel as if it is in some twisted sense, a good thing for the British military to be more racist. That will only serve to weaken it further.
Also, for the nation that looted and murdered its way across the whole planet, this kind of military humiliation is truly well deserved.

I’m guessing there’s now a huge amount of panic in Europe with the realization that Trump is most likely to get elected. I’d also argue that US policy will be to deprioritize Europe regardless of who gets in. Now that they lost the proxy war in Ukraine, I expect US will double down on trying to maintain presence in Asia. Europe is just not a core interest at this point because US sees China as their main competitor.
US was hoping to get a regime change in Russia and balkanize it as the best case scenario, but the second objective was to ensure that Europe wouldn’t become integrated into an economic bloc with Russia and China. They got that accomplished now, and there’s no more reason to keep pouring resources into Europe.
I’m going to be in China from June, and I am desperately hoping that whatever happens happens then, so I can claim asylum. Europe is going to implode.
