Surovikin’s plan is likely as follows: > Destroy Ukraine’s electric grid, water processing plants, critical infrastructure, etc. > It starts to get pretty cold >People think, “dang, I don’t want to freeze to death” >They move the West, which has energy problems of its own and a refugee crisis >Ukraine’s economy is by now not even crippled, it is disemboweled and shot in the head >Ukraine’s home front collapses, leaving its military out in the cold >Ukraine depends entirely on the West for weapons and money to keep fighting >The West is in economic crisis and can’t afford it anymore >Russia wins. Like, this plan is pretty fricking brutal, but I don’t think a lot of people are going to actually die from it. Also, Ukraine blocked water from Crimea for 8 years, so like, idk

Also, Ukraine blocked water from Crimea for 8 years

With Russia providing an alternative water and electricity lines since pretty much the start of the takeover. It wasn’t much fun for the locals. Even with the much warmer climate.

It’s currently around +1C during the day in Kiev, and colder during the night.
