MIT researchers made tiny, precise rotors out of pure diamond that can spin at far higher frequencies than conventional rotors. This could make it possible to use magic-angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance, or MAS-NMR, to study properties of complex biological molecules.
Neither have I. I want to learn a little bit more about the imaging technique that they were using since I’m sure that I will see it again, especially with this advancement.
