Exactly who is going to organize ammunition production/procurement for the weapons you’ve got? Not to mention logistics in general, because modern war is 9/10ths supply.
Do you really want to fight a knock-down, drag-out guerilla war every time every single time somebody threatens you? Something makes me think the people might not be on your side for very long if that keeps happening.
Along with #3, how exactly are you going to build up your economy in a state of continual war?
