Idk why but this photo made me really realize just how sick and twisted the “thin blue line” cop support stuff is.
It really does smack of white supremacy - “the thin blue line between us white folk and the uppity brown folks are the homicidal police force.”
The night of the 2020 election a few houses in my neighborhood put up the thin blue line flags. It was very unsettling to me. They all took them down almost immediately. I’ll always remember which ones put it up.

I live in a small rural town. I am extremely cautious that no one knows I am still wearing a mask (I only go grocery shopping in the nearby bigger town) and literally no one knows I am part jewish. I will continue to be extremely cautious regarding the far right in the coming years.
