Define ambition.
My ambition is to do right by my family, my friends and my community, work and live decently and going to my grave being reasonably proud of the life I lead.
If you mean ambition as in rising in the ranks of an organization and earning more money, yes, I believe the higher / richer you go, the worse human being you are, for one simple reason: to rise to the top in our society, you have to trample someone further down, and decent human beings don’t do that. And if you want to rise without doing that, someone will trample you and beat you to the top.
In society the way it’s structured, I believe the more “successful” you are, the more despicable you probably are too.
