I am not a math person, but this was fascinating. If you’ve never read it, a fantastic layman’s primer to thinking of dimensionality is the fun little adventure story into geometry called “Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions”. This introduces concepts like cross sections of higher dimensional shapes and how those appear to creatures in the lower dimensions which was really interesting.
