    Atnivenoms are indeed difficult to produce, but as I read this article one of the main concerns is who can afford them… of fucking course… sigh. Hospitals dont always have the stuff on hand because it’s so expensive to produce and it’s shelf life requires refrigeration and is therefore ultimately limited but what is the cost of a life. Until the profit motive is removed form ALL healthcare…healthcare will always be tiered to those who can afford it and those that can’t, and those who can’t in this case suffer a terrible death or are permanently damaged if they survive.

    It’s truly a sad shit world that assigns how many $'s you have to save your life or not.
