That sounds like the sort of development that won’t be too useful if doing the maths by hand (since the n³ algorithm is still more straightforward, Strassen’s algorithm is already messy enough), but it’ll be huge for the computation of large matrices.
…nobody here had sadistic professors, right. My first uni (Chemistry) had “that one guy” teaching Quantum for the 3rd years, who really wanted you to do this sort of matrix maths for larger molecules like benzene. Urgh.
