you live there and are a member of a vulnerable minority groupI hate the phrase “he or she” in academic texts. Like come on, we have a pronoun for when someone’s gender is unknown or unspecified, its they. You don’t need to do “he or she” at all. Its just worse than “they” in every way.

Depressing stuff
He doesn’t think anything about us really. He just says and does whatever makes his supporters go wild for him. Many years ago he even made the news for overturing a ban for a trans beauty pageant from his Miss Universe organization.
It’s honestly depressing to think that all of this dehuminization is just an act to boost his own ego and to keep himself in power, all fueled by our blood.
